Financial Support to Master Edward Asante for Surgical Operation

2021-01-29

Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?” Martin Luther King Jr. As a Foundation, we have always had the quest to support humanity by providing for the needy in any form of assistance to improve the daily lives of people medically or financially. In expanding our Services to the Community for the deprived to patronize our support, the Foundation embarked on survey to identify persons who required immediate medical attention but had no funding ability. With the touch of hearts, the Foundation spotted Master Edward Kwesi Asante.

Kwasi as affectionately known was diagnosed of Hernia, commonly involved in the abdomen, specifically the groin in Year 2017. He had complained of pain and weakness in his abdomen to his immediate family. The Sickness became very obvious and kept our brother away from public.

His social relations became shattered. Upon engagement as a Foundation, he couldn’t identify the cause of this sickness or state any hereditary traits. His pray was a support to remedy the situation. It was clear that funding to help Edward was difficult. He indicated that the family needed to raise some money from the proceeds of Cocoa sales largely for the family to enable them help him with his surgery. Indeed, time was not a friend of Edward.

As times went by, Hands of Gold Foundation stepped in to financially commit fully to support Kwesi to undertake 3 major Medical Scans to facilitate any medical diagnosis and treatment by Physicians in November, 2021. This intervention was indeed timely and saved the moment.

After the Scans had shown positive results to predict a successful surgery, Hands of Gold Foundation, went ahead to engage the Physician for the total cost of Surgery. With the strength of God, funds were made available in full to enable Master Edward Kwasi Asante to undertake his Surgery on Hernia at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital on the 29th January, 2021.

It was indeed, a heartfelt moment for our brother after the successful surgery. The entire family and the Community could not hide their joy for what has been done by Hands of Gold Foundation.
