Established in September 2020 in Accra, Ghana, the Hands of Gold Foundation is dedicated to supporting women and children facing hardship. Through our programs in education, hunger relief, medical support, and business empowerment, we strive to create lasting positive change in the lives of our beneficiaries.

The Beginning

Our Story

“

A young boy who has always enjoyed the good life and knew nothing about being poor, until his mother was involved in an accident which left her leg broken in 4 places. She was hospitalized for 5 years and eventually lost her job. Times were difficult and that led to their eviction from their home. She bore the single parenting responsibility for her children. Support came from nowhere.

Fortunately, the Mum had started building and the facility had no doors and windows. This situation offered their only option and source of shelter. It was at that point hardship became real to the family.

The fear of living today and having no knowledge of where the next meal will come from. From then, he understood the true difference of being rich and poor. He personally lived it and was not told.

From his experience, he vowed to help the poor and the needy, especially women & children having had his first share of hardship. These experiences birthed Hands of Gold Foundation to reach out to those in need.

September 2020

Foundation Established

Hands of Gold Foundation was founded with a bold vision to empower vulnerable communities through hunger relief, education, medical support, and sustainable development.

2021

First Community Programs

Launched our first hunger relief and education support programs, reaching families and children in underserved communities across Ghana.

2022

Expanding Our Reach

Expanded programs to include medical outreach and women empowerment initiatives. Partnered with local and international organisations to amplify our impact.
